I finally got all the toons back from my recent hijacking that I wanted back. I go my toon force down to the bare essentials with my 80 hunter, 80 druid, 51 priest (shadow only), and 14 rogue (bank). I know the only way to prevent being hacked is abstinence but I am in a safer environment with my new authenticator. In other news… I have been checking out a new site called WoWRemedy. The site is a ticket based question and answer based resource site with WoW experts guide you thru any question you can come up with. They cover every aspect of WoW and seem very well versed in every aspect of the game. As an example of this kind of ticket I submitted a standard ticket to see how fast and accurate the answer is. I will update you as soon as I get the updates. 1. Submitted a ticket at 11:58AM EST asking which leatherworking items make the most money. Update 5:55PM EST 2. Not real quick on response but will let you know when something arrives. Days 2 and 3 have been pretty uneventful so far. Just receiving a stream of emails regarding my account and who the issue has been sent to. The latest email received stated I should finally hear something back from a real person on Wednesday. I will let you know how it goes. I got a wonderful surprise today. My account has been hacked. I lost everything. I didn’t have hat great of gear but it was better than nothing. I’m actually not all that pissed about my stuff but when they took all my guild’s stuff that is upsetting. This will be a day by day account of getting all my stuff/toons/guild’s stuff back. Day 1- Checked security on computer, changed password, started ticket with blizzard, contacted guild. Really just the normal stuff you would expect to happen. I’m more interested in the rest of the project. I don’t usually like the Machinima Videos but, this one was actually pretty good. Enjoy! Milwaukee hit level 80 last night on the last boss of Gundrak. Shes already got her epic (got at 78) and maxed all her skills. Milwaukee makes more money than any other toon I’ve had. Jewelcrafting makes me huge money. I average 500-1000g per day just from jc. She has mining too but i rarely go out and mine my own stuff. I sell the Titansteel CD everyday for 20-30g. Maybe someday I will tell you my secrets to the big cash but, not right now. I have the market cornered.
I jumped back on Milwaukee today and tried a random dungeon. I put me in Occ where everyone immediately left group. The random option should allow players to select one dungeon that they refuse to do. Another option is to kill Occ all together instead of upping the loot or making it easier. People just don’t want to do it. Why force them? Also I think there should be stiffer penalties for players that leave a group before the instance is over. My idea is to give them res sickness and dock all their armor. This will really hurt those whiny ass tanks who show us if they ain’t happy ain’t nobody happy. They just hop from dungeon to dungeon because the cue times are all reliant on the amount of tanks in the system… I thought DK’s were supposed to fix the lack of tanks. My prediction for Cataclysm is that they make shamans more of a possible tanking class. I mean what other class uses shields but can’t tank? After getting my druid to level 79 I decided to renew his rested xp to make the last grind less painful. I’m still just hanging away from the raids as I got burnt out on them with Bucktron. It just got to be too much like work. I then switched back to my shadow priest. He’s now 48.5 and doing great on the meters. I forgot how much fun he is to play as dps only. This will be one of my first toons to be single specced. This is my first experience with the new pug system on anything low level. I’m quite surprised how short que times are to get into older instances. I have been averaging about 6 mins per run. I am currently looking for shadow priest pluggins that I can’t live without. I will be adding more blog posts… even if its just about what I’m doing. Update: Bingo Card Links Now Work! Also, another card added. I’ve covered the good side of fast forming pugs with the latest patch…. now time for the ugly side of pugs cross realm. There has been some bingo cards circulating the wow blogs originally found on the official forums. They explain how crappy pugging can be. (most of these refer to lvl 80 toons) I have found a few more that should be on these cards…
I’m sure there’s more. I will update when I find more to complain about. Another issue I have with pugs is that since everyone is cross realm the chances of running into someone again is very slim. This is an issue because since theres no cross toon reputation issues few bring their “A” game. Example: Problem: Loot issues. Answer:Toons bring their “B” game.
Cross realm pugs can be a great leveling tool but, can easily turn from good to bad to pugly in the blink of an eye. |
