I’m done with my long leave from blogging only to return with an update of my current gaming strategy. I’m currently leveling a fire mage. Fire because it rules and I never quest. If someone just uses LFG for all leveling might as well use a raiding spec… in my opinion.

In gold news I’m back over 25k gold. I’ve found enchanting is a huge money maker… even bigger than jewel crafting. Also, after listening some podcasts like Call to Auction, I have taken them up on some of their less than ethical ideas on making money. I have been selling arrows and bullets one at a time. This seems like an idea that nobody would fall for but you would be surprised.  I have now sold over 1500 arrows 1 at a time for an average of 3g each. I do get some hate mail and have been reported for hacking the auction house somehow but its tons of fun.

The guild I am in looks to be going through some reorganization. I personally like seeing the smaller numbers of a guild. Its nice when everyone knows everyone. Its like the people are really your friends and not just people to fill raid spots. The people in guild are the loyal few. The people that you can always count on no matter what happens.

Season 4 of the guild dropped today… Finally.

I love the guild.

I jumped back on Milwaukee today and tried a random dungeon. I put me in Occ where everyone immediately left group. The random option should allow players to select one dungeon that they refuse to do. Another option is to kill Occ all together instead of upping the loot or making it easier. People just don’t want to do it. Why force them?

Also I think there should be stiffer penalties for players that leave a group before the instance is over. My idea is to give them res sickness and dock all their armor. This will really hurt those whiny ass tanks who show us if they ain’t happy ain’t nobody happy. They just hop from dungeon to dungeon because the cue times are all reliant on the amount of tanks in the system…

I thought DK’s were supposed to fix the lack of tanks. My prediction for Cataclysm is that they make shamans more of a possible tanking class. I mean what other class uses shields but can’t tank?

OK… I’m done with my holiday break… time to get back to work.

It was announced on January 3rd that WCRadio will no longer broadcast in a month’s time. No real explanation is given but I’ve been doing more research into this. Everything to follow is my interpretation of the data given.

It seems WCRadio is getting getting bigger or just changing names. This project has been in the works for over 4 years. Hopefully the shows all transfer over… well almost all of them.

2006 FAQ Post

Its been announced that Hot Topic now sells World of Warcraft goods. I notice something interesting about the goods spread.. check it out. 11 items total.

• 5 Alliance products
• 5 various Blizzard products
• and only 1 Horde item

This is Factionism at its very worst. In Hot Topic’s defense their store is designed for 14 year olds. As we all know Alliance is all played by 14 year olds.

I’ve been sick for the past couple weeks with some sort of flu bug. I think it was probly Silithid Pox or something like that. I finally got caught up on all the webshows and podcasts that I watch (i.e. The Guild, AVGN, and Just Plain Better). Thanks for the shoutout from Natural20 at Just Plain Better. It made my day.  Maybe this week I will listen live instead of archives.  Anyways, thanks for being patient.

Has anyone seen the perky pug complete animation? Not as cute as one might think from seeing the beginning.

In other news we are getting a new mount in 3.3. His name is Invincible.  He’s another one of those flying/land mounts that we all love.

WoW just came out with the second commercial in a series featuring Mr. T as their spokesman. Is this really the person who inspires people to play WoW? I don’t really know who would be better. Leave your suggestions in the comment section.
