Last night while running with my pug group, I came to a revelation. What would happen if the dps addons never existed. Think about it. No ranking system on how valuable you are to the success of the group by pure damage output. If the addons didn’t exist maybe we would see more Improved Leader of the Pack, Trueshot Aura, Totem of Wrath, and the like. If everyone had the talents specced into group friendly points wouldn’t more of the raids/instances be wipe free? I would give up 10% of my dps to improve the entire raid’s dps by 5%. We should be looking out for our guildies and not just number 1. In the end you can’t run a raid by yourself.
I hearby swear to tweak my talents any chance i get to benefit the group. I promise to never post another dps rating. Success for all is better than rating for one.
