I’m usually put off by any gold farming guides but I finally found a great resource to recommend. Check out http://www.wow-gold-guides-exposed.com .  He’s put the time into researching the best ways to get the gold.

I found a new way to make some nice money. The bears in felwood are dropping Bear Flank. This meat product is currently selling for 50-60G per stack. These bears also have a history of dropping alot of boe blues and epics. Another plus is if you have skinning as a talent. Rugged Leather often skins from these bears. This leather bounces in value from 20-40G a stack.

Bank alts are an important aspect of any serious player who would likes to make gold. For a long time I did not see the need for a bank alt but, after getting one I see the error in my ways.

A bank alt is a toon that acts like extended storage or a atm for your main bank. Its important when you are out questing or grinding and suddenly notice your bags are full. Most any small towns have a mailbox. Just mail your supplies to your bank alt.

My bank alt’s name is Edamn. He’s a naked undead rogue (cloaked in evil) running around Org if you happen to be looking. I based him in org because of the really nice layout of the 4 primary locations that a bank alt needs to goto (mailbox, bank, auction house, and vendor). I bought a guild for really cheap about 6 months ago from trade chat. It was cheaper than making my own and way easier. The guild has 2 bank slots (which are full). This is where I store most of the crap I just can’t bring myself to sell.

He is my pimp. Everything he does has to do with money. He does all of my buying and selling for my mains. If bucktron needs ammo I just pop on Edamn and buy some ammo. I trained him in tailoring (to get rid of some of the worthless linen cloth) and enchanting (to disenchant low level items for the mats they make). These 2 professions work hand in hand to make me more gold.

Today I salute you, Mr. Bank Alt. If you don’t have one already get one. It will make your life simpler.

I found a new way to make money last night. Look for low priced cut or raw gems in the auction house. Many JC’ers are selling them at less than vendor prices. Example: Living Ruby has been selling on the AH for 2g 50s. It vendors for 3g. Thats quick cash when you buy in bulk. I know its not mad money but theres just something cool about buying something from the ah and turning it into profit in 1 min.

One great way that I’ve found to make some fast cash is to run old instances. So far the best one I’ve found is scholomance. This one,in the western plaguelands, is rarely run but the loot sells quite nice in the ah.
The full clear as a lvl 80 hunter takes about 40 mins. I average about 100 gold per run in just cash drops. The real money to be made is in the loot. Be sure to clean out your bags before running this. I usually fill about 30 slot worth of loot.

Main drops:
Rune cloth 5g per stack
Boe blues 10-20g per
Bone fragments 50s ea but stack up to 250
Crypt fiend parts 50s ea but stack up to 250
Dark Rune 5g ea sometimes more

Its also a nice way to lvl a friend as the mobs are all lvl 60.
